________________________________________________________________________

That’s “mad” as in insane, crazy. Not p.o.’d or furious. We’re talking just a little bit to the left of center, off my rocker . . . you know. You especially know if you have a home business and are a house wife.

So today I sit here wondering what have I got myself into? I have plunged into this network marketing business because I love my sponsor . . . no, let me say worship . . . and, well, it just seemed like if she could do it I could do it. She is everything I wanna be. Period. I just sit there watching her, in total awe with my mouth hanging open. When my drool starts running down my chin I snap the jaw closed and myself back to reality though. I mean, I’m not that out to lunch, at least I don’t think I am. Just the fact that I’m sitting here writing in my home business blog proves it. Something my sponsor recommended, by the way.

So I’ve been to two meetings so far, paid my dues, got my stuff from the company of apparently which I am now an actual member, not a mere employee, and here I am on day one wondering now what.

The member factor is big for me. I have worked for years and years doing things for other people (not the least of which has been slaving away for my immediate family — and Sarah Palin I am NOT, let me state loud and clear, right here, just so nobody has false expectations) and so being an actual “member” of something and maybe having a vested interest in it, which they say I do, feels really important to me and is very validating. Like I am becoming a true member of society — the kind that contributes to the community, earns a respectable income, has their hair and nails done occasionally, wears lipstick. Having a home business blog makes it feel even more official, like my words will be read on the front page of the Wall Street Journal every day or something.

If you are at all like me, you will “resonate”(to use a trendy buzz word) with what I am saying, and you know what it’s like to feel like a foreigner in your own country, on the fringe of a productive society, because you’ve been holed up for so many years trying to get meals on the table and kids to school and skunk spray off the dog. Makes you feel pretty isolated. In fact it’s just plain other-worldly. I mean I never even heard of a blog, much less a home business blog, until yesterday and frankly am still not quite sure how it fits into the picture.

So. Hmmm. Well, it’s still the first day, and I know I can get something done. So I’ll start now. I just wanted to put my thoughts down in my diary — whoops, I mean home business blog, because that always does me good. It’s like the only person that ever really listens to me. The diary/blog, that is. (See? Downright other-worldly, me. Kurt Vonnegut could have used us types as good fodder for his sci-fi fantasies, may God rest his soul. But he did a good job anyway.)

So, one thing I DO have to help me along here is this other tool, besides my home business blog, which you can check out in the link below if you so choose. Meanwhile, thanks for listening. To be continued . . . matty macnutt

When I think of the world, there is no end, I either think of issues the world is taking, how other countries are, is there someone else like me out there, or just imply my world. The way Im living now is not so great for my parents, employment is cutting down short, so that means there is no work for my dad. My mom either works with my dad or is a housewife. So when it comes to tell them what I want it is a little hard. I have another side of me that’s really close and special, who is my twin sister Celene. So our parents have two to take care of us for now. I don’t only have Celene, from my mom’s side I have an older sister name Marisa who lives in Guadalajara Mex. and an older brother name Christian who lives n Phoenix Arizona with his wife and daughter. We recently visited me sister in the summer and had a lot of fun at the beach with her.
At time it would be awkward for my sister and I because my mom at time would treat her special because its her first born child and because she left her when she was 11 years old and my brother was about 4-5 years old. She left them in good hands, my grandparents, then she decide to come here to America. As for my brother we visit him about once or twice a year but he visits us constantly, so its okay. There is sort of issues with my mom and him about my niece, about him and his wife not speaking in Spanish to my niece. My mom thinks its very important for her grandchild to speak Spanish because it comes from generations and because it’s the responsibility for my brother and my sister in law to teach its to her. At the same time I know that my mom is able to understand English speaking but she would prefer for Eva my niece to speak Spanish. Finally on my father’s side I also have a brother Fernando and a sister Merari. My brother just recently got to America about 3 years ago and in the other hand my sister lives in Guatemala and she’s married and has children around my age.
As for my community and where I live in, isn’t that much different to what I see in other cities and countries. For example, the part of LA that I live in is known as South Central. My neighborhood is quite and at times it is violent but I never been part of those situations where authority has been involved. Its usually all the other kids that have everyone going crazy in my community. When outsiders come to the community they see run down environments and just judge us by how they see the surroundings. If you want to apply for a job they see everything right like your applications and your personal letter, but the other thing they see it is your color and ethnicity. They think that being minority you might not qualify for a job. This also happens in other countries like our fellow neighbor Mexico, GDL has some slight discrimination too even though everyone there has the same skin color they basically are based on your financial status, physical appearance, and in what class you are in ( middle, low, etc). People don’t notice this but it is true.
Lastly, my education has been on top of things. At first, I thought high school was going to mess me up but it didn’t. I just got better in what Im good doing. My parents had enrolled me in a new green dot charter school which at first didn’t wanted to attend but then I used to it. Then the idea of being the first graduating class of their school would be awesome. Plus, the school was mostly about creating anything you wanted or being the first at what your good doing. Sports is my specialty, I love being active, challenging and just having fun outdoors. When I was younger my first sport was basketball and then I began playing any sports that were offered. I remember me and sister had inspired my fifth grade teacher, and she said she wishes seeing us in the Olympics someday like Serena and Venus Williams. I will never forget that, that saying just inspired me more, and giving me more choices in life. Since then on, coaches just see me and my sister like all surprised. They see us like all stars because any sport that they put in front of us, we are just prefect in doing.

  • Not really…given the fact that it was probably her choice.
    Feminism is about choices.

  • word of mouth, ( no pun intended ), go to a local coffee house, and offer a raffle, for a free service for a week as they say you need to spend money to make money. never appear, as if you need the business. good luck

  • GOOD JOB! I Will Susrcibe!

  • I don't get the sense that a lot of women are becoming homemakers for the rest of their lives after college. Even those who eventually go in that direction generally work for a number of years before they do that. It is a choice, and while it wasn't something I would have wanted, I think it is wonderful that some people are fortunate enough to have that choice. Others may work at jobs that don't use their degrees either, so what is the difference?

I can tell you a story: When I was in college, I dropped out twice. I was very unhappy with my major and had a problem with depression that hadn't been fully recognized. Finally, I decided to go back to school in a different major. At the time, I was working as a waitress, and when I told one of my customers that I had decided to go back, he said to me, "Why would you do that? You've already gone to college twice, and you haven't found a husband yet!" Now, 35 years later, I not only have my bachelors degree, but a masters and two doctorates as well. They have given me a wonderful career, and I'm very happy. But you know what? I still don't have a husband! And I can't say that I regret that terribly.

The first step is to get rid of the clutter and get things in order. The best way to eliminate clutter is to do small sections at a time. Pick either a closet, a cupboard, a drawer or a corner of the garage. Focusing on a smaller area is less overwhelming. Take everything out of that space and divide it into three piles: keep, throw away, or donate/sell. After everything is sorted, put the “keep” pile away in an organized manner. Immediately discard the “throw away” pile, and then either drop off donations or start the selling process of the remaining items. Stay focused until the space is entirely done and then enjoy your accomplishment!

Make sure you have a filing cabinet for personal papers. You want to divide your papers into categories and then make corresponding file folders. Be specific so you are able to find it when you need it.

Once everything is organized, you have to make a conscious decision to keep it that way. Being organized is a choice and a way of life. It is about creating and maintaining good habits.

I pulled this on my hubby a few months ago, gave him a "Bill" for services rendered…….It was, based on minamum wage in this state (La.), close to $1,300,000, if I remember correctly. That included charges for "Miscellaneous services rendered"…..LOL
Plus being doctor, nurse, banker, personal assistant, laundress, housekeeper etc….

Well let me give you my point of view here. I too worked from the time I was 15 til just last yr. (now 37) I have two teen daughters and a husband who is OTR truck driver (stays gone most of the time) So far you seem to be off to a good start…You have internet….LOL this will help to keep your sanity when you have nothing left to do. You can only clean the house so much or wash clothes so much, I do little things daily. I sleep as late as I want. Get up do whatever dishes there are, wash a load or two, and in between either play on here or watch a tv show or two. Today I am going to work out in the yard some. (We have dogs that tear it up and crap everywhere…ewww…) If I have errands to do, I do them. Everything is on my time table. I LOVE IT I used to think I would not adapt to staying at home, but I was wrong…Now I can't see my self working a full time job again. Financially I should never have to, but still the feeling is great. I am here when the girls get home. I know more about what is going on in theie lives now. I find myself wanting to listen to them more when they want to tell me something. They like the feeling of knowing if they should ever need me during the day, I am only a phone call away now. No more ""call your grandfather because I cant get off work, or cant afford to get off work" I can just grab my keys and go now. If I dont get everything that needs done finished in one day….So what??? There is tomorrow….I have plenty of time to get all the projects done that I want to do. I just make a list of things big or little that needs done, and work on the list…When I get it finished I look around and make a new list……It works great for me…Good luck, and if you ever want to chat you can email me or msg me @ tinamzlater@yahoo..com !!!! :)

It's usually a married woman who does not work out side the home. She stays home cleaning, cooking, decorating—her job is to keep the home life humming smoothly.

First, I commend you on seeking a solution that does not dishonor your marriage vows. Female masturbation has so many methods that it really depends on your level of comfort with your body and what you like. You have to explore to see what type of touch arouses you. Try initially just beginning to rub your breasts and genital area with varied levels of pressure and circular motion (KY jelly or baby oil work well as lubricants). Keep your husband's picture handy so you will still feel that sense of intimacy with him. Also, try a vibrating rabbit (www.shoperotictv.com) which will open up a whole new world to you. You can actually call a private 800# at the site, and talk to the specialist who will recommend some things for you based on what you like. Last of all, don't be afraid to explore your own body without shame. It is a thing of beauty and is exquisite in its own way. Remember we women put the "Wo" in man. If you get bored with these suggestions, google female masturbation for varied techniques. Have fun!
